It’s an Arm Balancing Act
Join LavaBarre’s Lead Yoga Instructor, Beth Nichols-Howarth, for an arm balancing workshop on Sunday, December 11, from 2-3:30pm. Whether you’re starting from scratch or looking to improve your form, all levels are welcome as we put our hands on the ground and lean in. We’ll play with crow (bakasana), side crow (parsva bakasana), hurdler’s pose (koundinyasana) and 8-angle pose (astavakrasana), breaking down each pose and seeking out that “balanced” feeling. Along the way, you’ll strengthen your core and discover that what looks complicated isn’t always so once you learn the fundamentals. You may stay up, you may fall down, but you’ll always have fun.
